Beyond the bright lights
of the holiday resort, lies a charming town steeped in history.
Great Yarmouth, the birthplace of Anna Sewell, the author of Black
Beauty and a town immortalized by Charles Dickens in his much-loved
David Copperfield, has seen the triumphant return of rear admiral
Nelson, and was at the centre of the greatest herring fishery in
the world.
Here you will find the Star Hotel, one of Great Yarmouth's most
striking buildings with its distinct black and white façade.
The Star Hotel, parts of which date back to the 17th century, offers

Travelling
on the A47 to Great Yarmouth. At the 1st roundabout take the
2nd exit (Gt Yarmouth Town Centre) and at the next roundabout
take the 3rd exit (North Quay). After the traffic lights take
the left fork and hotel is located on your left. The car park
is at the rear of the building.
